First details on new EP "Miles Away" (dates,tracklist,promo)

As the summer holidays approach for the band... we can now reveal some details on the forthcoming release of the EP "Miles Away" !

As always with Waiting For Words, there will certainly be some changes,but as per today... here are the plans !

Ep Title : MILES AWAY, featuring Soe V

+ one or more remixes

"Miles Away" is actually under production with Gregory from the bands Electrocaine & Just Two and the sound of this completely new version compared to the live one performed since a year is very, very, very encouraging and first feedback from the lucky ones who heard it can be sum up to "Waooo, Kick Ass version"

"Out Of Control" composed by Yann from the band Lifen, is almost completed and will be very similar to the version performed in May.

"Burning Steel" is a fully re-recorded version of the first single of the band released back in 1992. A live version was performed at the Birhtday Concert last April. A new life for this song that have received very good feedbacks from the audience, encouraging ZeN to re-record it


Targetted Release Date : October for Digital, Mid/End November for the CD

Remembering the efficient campaign of free downloadable compaigns of 2004 (Above The Sky, Travelling Man...) that allowed the band a major visibility worldwide and considering the difficulties and long process of distribution, reviews in magazines, radio broadcasts and so on.... the title song "Miles Away" will be available as a Free Downloadable song on ZeVox webradio website !
Its not sure yet if the free version will be the EP version or a special Edited one

For a limited period (one or two weeks), the full EP will be digitally available for purchase exclusively on the webradio website before hitting worldwide platforms (itunes, hmv, fnac, virginmega....)

In the scope of this partnershop between ZeVox/Waiting For Words, a public presentation of the EP could be set up, with a Meet & Greet with the band as "Warm Up" of the Halloween party of October 31st

A CD version will be available for mid/end November

A real video promo will also be directed by Cecile Veve who previously directed the short movie "La Passagere" that saw Waiting For Words composing the music, "La Passagère Theme" and the 1999 track "Close My Eyes" appearing.

There are also some plans for a follow up to the hilarious SIMS video of Cause I Do Believe by Mags ! It's not sure yet if it would be an updated version of Cause I Do Believe video or a complete new songs

And of course, the 2nd Leg of the tour will start, hopefully in October with already 3 gigs planned :
19.11 - Lille, France with the band Neutral Lies
16.12 - Paris, France with De/Vision & Eco Nuklear
and a live in Britanny, hopefully in October.
Of course, some strong plans are in place for UK, Belgium, Germany and other places + Show cases in selected Record stores

Other activities of the band include
- Remixes for the bands Arachnophobias & Lowe,
- and of course, some more songwirting for the album, targetted for release on first quarter 2011

Promotion on "The Curve EP" still intensively continues to keep the band under the lights and most of all, prepare the field for "Miles Away"

So for now... 5 more days of hard work on the songs (some more vocals, drums programming...) and then holidays !
