Waiting For Words... A New Life!

Mycrotonik, keyboard player since 2006, has decided to leave
the band, taking a step back to focus on personal matters and
explore new musical adventures.

This move is far from being a stop for the band, but, on the opposite,
many projects are on going with the next EP, the Tour and a new album.

There will be no replacement and Waiting For Words is now run
uniquely by ZeN, just like plenty of other “bands” such as Recoil,
Visage, Human League and many projects.

“Waiting For Words is my heart, my soul, my passion, my life. I could
run under a different name, my name or else… but my ego is not as
developed to have lights spotting my name like this.

Music is based on sharing talents and experiences… Waiting For Words is a
place where people meet, give and take, with just one goal in mind :
trying to make the best music we can.
I’m now the captain of the boat – which, although some would like to
think - I’ve never been before.

I’ve spent the last 20 years with different personalities, talents… I’ve
always put my efforts in finding a balance between every band members,
focusing on how they could feel the best, what were their interests,
problems, constraints. There has been numerous times when the band
suffered of it, missing some great opportunities, live or record wise,
because of one or more band members… and I’ve dealt with that and have
no regret about it.

The last 6 years has been fantastic, far from any expectation or wildest
dreams…. But finding the right band members is long and sometimes
painful.
Nothing will ever equal the great friendship and all the things shared
with El Lute and Mycrotonik, Inoks, Théo…

I’m at a point in my life where I’m ready to stand and take full
ownership and responsibilities of the band.

I want to thank Mycrotonik for those great 4 years together, for his
friendship, all his great work, all his input, that, mixed with El Lute
and my work gave some great great things.
I wish Mycrotonik all the luck he deserves for his musical projects and
I’m sure there will be many opportunities to work together again in a
near future”

Of course, Stewart and Gina at Emsar/Foundry Records address a big thank
you to Mycrotonik and wish him all the best for the future

GREGORY LEDROIT, from the projects ELECTROCAINE and JUST TWO will
join ZeN on stage on keyboard and working sessions has already
started and the result of this collaboration is very promising

WAITING FOR WORDS new formula will be presented Live on MAY, 8th at
Les Caves St Sabin, Paris with bands Pleasant Fiction & Extize.

Some German dates are under discussions.

The band, including Mycrotonik, has just completed the Original
Soundtrack for a Short Movie, “The Passenger” and work has
started on the new Ep “Miles Away”
